Hello!

My name is Grady Robbins. I'm a First-year graduate student at the Arizona State University pursuing a Ph.D. in geological sciences with a focus on planetary geology. I am currently involved in research on basalt dissolution (geochemistry & mineralogy), Europa (impacts and ejecta trajectories), and protoplanetary disks (early solar system formation).

At the University of Florida, I have been involved in many student-led organizations. I was the Founder of PULSAR with astronomy department chair Dr. Elizabeth Lada, an astronomy club dedicated to improving undergraduate involvement in research. I was also the Treasurer and Secretary of AAS, a student organization working to improve outreach participation and public joy of astronomy. I'm currently mentoring two students in the Women's in Astronomy and Astrophysics Mentorship program, a program dedicated to empowering women in astronomy.

I am passionate about planetary science, particularly on topics regarding Mars, Europa, and other rocky bodies. After graduating with my B.S. in Astrophysics and B.A. in geology, I plan to continue my studies through a doctorate program in planetary science and pursue a career as a skilled research scientist.
